Mik Hillewaert has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, from Benelux Regional Manager at PTC to Regional Director Eastern Region for VMware covering Russia/CIS, MENA, Eastern Europe and Turkey/Israel. In 2011 he was appointed as Vice President of International Sales at VirtualSharp Software, a next-generation Disaster Recovery company acquired by PHD Virtual Technologies in March 2013. In 2012 Mik founded Nubera, an IT services organization focused on bringing new cloud technologies to the Benelux market and assisting companies in their journey to the cloud. In October 2013, Mik became CEO of Metsi Technologies, a global IT systems integrator focused on multicloud services orchestration and data center automation with Cisco. Mik is also a board member of Playpass, a Belgian software company focused on crowd & crew management with cashless systems. Mik has a Chemical Engineering degree from KIH de Nayer and holds a Master’s in Economics from KU Leuven.

Rachael Babcock has over 20 years of experience in IT and telecommunications, with a strong background in global sales and executive leadership in high-growth environments. Previously, she led a US Cisco Gold Partner business with strong YoY growth; designed software defined data centers with Cisco for the State of TN (as TN’s first Chief Innovation Officer); launched Telefonica’s global IoT partner program at Cisco Jasper; served as an international telecom Chief Commercial Officer; and was CEO of a fintech startup. She is passionate about innovation in both business and technology, especially in the design and delivery of XaaS (as-a-Service). She has significant experience, both nationally and internationally, in various industries, including Healthcare, Telecommunications, Energy & Utilities, and Transportation. Rachael holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is currently completing her MBA at the University of Tennessee.

Ghufran Shah has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, beginning as a Development Team Lead and then becoming Technical Director and CTO. In 2012, he co-founded Metsi Technologies to provide solutions, services and products to organizations for digital transformation, business orchestration, and enterprise cloud management. Ghufran is a co-author of 8 IBM Redbooks and a worldwide instructor in enterprise service management. He has worked globally with clients to deliver value-based IT solutions based on Digital Systems Integration, Configuration Management, Service Management and Strategic Consultancy. Ghufran holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Bradford.

Gary Harrison brings more than 25 years of experience in media, fintech, and telecommunications industries to Metsi. For the past five years he has been proactively driving disruption in business through the adoption of cloud technologies, including Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC), Software-Defined Networking (SDN) / Access (SDA) / WAN (SD-WAN), and XaaS (as-a-Service). In addition to his recent leadership as Principle Architect for Enterprise Networks at Sky TV, Gary was a senior consultant for Thomson Reuters’ Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Data Center Rationalization program. Gary started his career in R&D for military communications in Australia and the United States, and then led technology strategy in various startup roles, including Infrastructure and Development Director and Lead Infrastructure Architect. Gary holds Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Sydney.

Phillip Odom brings more than 20 years of experience in technology, telecommunications, and healthcare industries to lead Metsi’s North American technical team. Previously, Phillip was the founder and President of TransactIQ, a premier provider of Application Performance Engineering. Phillip was a member of the startup team for Loadtester Incorporated, a HP Partner & Reseller, in 2005; and founded AppDiagnostics Inc. in 2007. Phillip also serves on the Senior Advisory Board for ANKR. Additionally, he has provided consulting as well as Research & Development expertise to dozens of Fortune 500 companies, foreign and domestic governments, public and private universities, and several startups. Phillip’s areas of expertise include: Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Predictive Analytics, Application Performance Management (Analytics, Deep Diagnostics, Testing, Tuning, Validation), CMMI for Services, and Service Provider Development (Cloud, XaaS, xSP, and Mobility).
